first time using excel 2003 (long time excel user). it won't let me type in
numbers in the hundred thousands, ie 643,250 comes out 64,325. i went to the
number format and put in standard 'use commas for thousands, brackets for
negative etc...and it still won't let me type in a 6 dig number
Go to the Tools menu, choose Options, then the Edit tab. There,
ensure that quot;Fixed Decimalquot; is unchecked.--
