I have protected a sheet in Excel. I want to unprotect several columns and a
couple of cells. What is the procedures for doing that?

Before you protect the sheet, select the cell(s) range(s) you want to leave
open, do formatgt;cellsgt;protection and uncheck locked, now protect the sheet
