Excel 2003.

I have a column of 11 numbers.
I would like to throw out the two highest,
the two lowest, and get an average of the
remaining 7.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks SkipOne way:
=TRIMMEAN(A1:A11,4/11)
or
=(sum(a1:a11)-sum(large(a1:a11,{1,2}))-sum(small(a1:a11,{1,2})))/7

Hi. I like to think of it as throwing out '4 of the '11 numbers...

=TRIMMEAN(A1:A11,4/11)

One way:

=AVERAGE(LARGE(C1:C11,{3,4,5,6,7,8,9}))
