So i am going to start using 2 guitars on stage. One guitar is significantly quiter than the other, so i bought a Danelectro EQ so i could play around a bit with the eq and to boost its signal, but the thing is is when i use it, the boost is only noticable on the clean, and single overdrive channels. On the dual distortion channel,or lead, it is not noticable at all. The amp is a Crate GT-212.

i was at guitar center today, and i think i saw my next guitar. its not really flashy but its a reddish pink lp witha floyd. its really thin for an lp, like thinner than a strat. its really weird. it looked like a gibson but ive never seen one like it before. any idea what it was? i was going to try it out, but goddamn every guitar with a floyd at gc is never in tune! :******:

Well, I went out of town last week and had me a slight affair with an MH-400, (don't tell my guitars) and I was really impressed with the feel and responsiveness.....but wait, IT'S GOT EMG's! I've never really been a fan of EMG's but I think I'm starting to come around as of late to the actives. First off I had a fling with a Schecter Hellraiser C-7 that I absolutely loved and now this little incident.....I may have to take the plunge and get an EMG equipped guitar again. To be perfectly honest the last time I tried them they were in a Project V with a malfunctioning 3 way switch and it was tuned to B standard, not the fairest chance for any pu. So what're your guy's thoughts on this...Give em another shot in my Les Paul say, or just be content for now.

Well my youngest daughter is ill today, and she loves music, makes her sleep better for some odd reason.
So she is here in the living room sleeping..hehe quite soundly too for that matter.

Since about 1988 i have owned a few different Solid State Fender Princton Chorus amps for low volume practicings.... I've sold some and bought more to replace them over the years. They are cheap and at a wisper of volume sound OK for bedroom practice.... The people in the next room can sleep while i play... Very important when i work odd hours and up all night!

i searched around but i couldnt really find anything...is there a place where i can find out about how to install a floyd rose tremolo on my guitar ? also if i have just a standard nut is there any way i can install the locking nut on my own ? thanks in advance.

So my uncle has this older Charvel, I think it's from the late 80s, that he's letting me use for a while. In fact it just may be mine, seeing as how he doesn't play anymore, well maybe twice a year. Anyway, here's a link to some pics:

I've been looking at getting a 2x12 Swanson cab for my Edana. I considered an Avatar 4x12 with G12H30s, but after seeing the Swansons I think a matching cab would look much better, besides, I really dont like the look of the standard Avatar 4x12.
