Are they much different?

Hi ho ladies and gents,

I have an old Carvin 4X12 with 70 or 75 watt celestions. (or the carvin imitation P) I'm thinking about getting rid of it and getting a Mesa 2X12 with Vintage 30s and a closed back. Will I loose quot;somethingquot; by going the 2X12 route. Besides two less speakers P. Any opinions on 2X12 vs 4X12 in general? I really don't want a Mesa 4X12 because I don't need it, and its insanely heavy. (150 pounds) Any opinions or comments are welcome!

I have been checking them out but noticed they are made in japan. I was wondering if they are any good. I like the viper but am not sure about giving $1300 for a guitar made in japan.. So any info you can give me will help out alot.

if anybody has some stuff that was done with an Alesis SR-16, and they wouldn't mind posting it it would be a huge help...if you have anything else that was done with a different drum machine, that IYO sounds good feel free to post it was well.

Weird! Okay, so today I got the adjustable wraparound bridge for my Gibson Les Paul Junior in the mail. The guy I bought it from showed me acouple pictures but didn't seem to know anything about it. Couldn't tell me the name brand. I open up the package, and it's an original Leo Quan Badass bridge! Woot! It sounds awesome and should do wonders for the intonation on the Junior. I love gear related surprises!
