How much gain/distortion can it handle before getting muddy and losing the WAH effect? Can you describe it with a band, or music genre? Like Hard Rock, Classic Rock, etc.

Single sized hum-Lil' Screamin Demon's diagram
Having bought Lil' Screamin Demon for my USA Standard Fender 2002, I am ready to wire it by myself. In fact, it is my first time to do it. Now I have not opened my fender yet.
After downloading the diagram on SD's site, I am just having some questions.

Brand New SH-6 Bridge/Black for Trade
Looking for New SH-5 Bridge, Black. If anyone is interested, let me know. I've traded in the past, but it's been a couple of years. The pickup i offer, is on the way, through the mail, as a christmas present, from musicians friend. it's to late to cancel, and it's part of the SH-6 mayhem set, so i can't return just one. thanks.

Played a Gibson BluesHawk and Peavey Classic 30!
After noodling around on the 'ol twanger with some friends today, I decided to waste some of my Saturday at the local guitar shop. So I walk in, and there is a sweet Gibson BluesHawk hanging on the wall. I grab it and ask to play it through the Peavey Classic 30.

Bad Pot?
Not that type of pot!?!?!? Just kidding. I have an Eppi Exployer that i am trying to fix up after an extremely bad fall. The neck was broken clean off and one of the body horns needed glue.... It was a new guitar and it fell about 8 feet to the hard floor. Anyway i glued it back together and tried fireing it up but there is a funny ground problem in the electronics.... With both volume pots off there is still noise if i take my hands off the strings?!?!?? So i wonder if it could be a bad pot? Normally guitars are off and no noise when you turn all the pots to 0....... But this one still needs me to hold the strings to stop the ground noise.
