So I posted about the Peavey VTM. Another amp choice to replace my Blue Voodoo with is a Hughes amp; Kettner Attax 100 Head. I have played it, my brother and rythme guitarist uses it live and it always sounds amazing. I know because of his experience that the only downside to this company is the parts they use. They are very rare and repairs take a while. So what is your take on the hybrid 100 watt amp? I will be paying 300 for it with the midi module.

to sell or not to sell...
hey guys- lately I've been getting rid of some stuff to try to fund a nice tube combo but I'm kinda debating on one item in particular- I have an old pa system that should still fetch at least 800-1000 bucks or so but dss3(jeff) brought out a good point, it could be very useful for band practices in the near future. But it also takes up a lot of room, and as of right now the quot;bandquot; is just me and a drummer and his guitar god friend who sometimes sits in but isn't part of the band(yet, muhaha). Just kinda debating here- sell pa system and instantly get amp of choice. Keep pa system and let it sit there while I slowly put money away and sell old college books and stuff. Waddya think?

Some fun guitar pics.
Well, I don't know much about these type of guitar, but some old dude came into a local music shop and was showing em off. He was a real nice guy and let me and my punkass friends all play them. Well, anyway, here's the pics. I enjoyed!

V-stack,HOLY MOTHER OF MERCY!!!!!!!!!
WOW! it arrived yesterday and i'm still in awe. this thing sounds totally amazing. i tried it out using both the les paul and the p-90 equipped sg. both just ripped. the sound clips they have on their site on very accurate. i just couldn't put the thing down. the controls are so responsive. the tones are so creamy. or so crunchy, depending. it's real responsive to it's own controls but to the guitars tone/volume knobs as well. just like a real amp. i don't know how they did it but they really scored with this product. i think i may have found my tone. it's a very quiet unit too. which is not something i'm used to owning a pod. speaking of the pod, looks like i may be retiring the pod from guitar duties......

Gasing for a PRS Soapbar at SE
Took my Kramer over to Theodie's yesterday to get a refret, and while I was there, I got to check out a couple of guitars. Saw Brisk's USACG neck -- man, was it beautiful. Theodie had a purple-heart Tele half completed. Cool looking wood, and I'll be interested in how the final product sounds. Realized I *still* need to get a Gibson Explorer: the PGn and Custom bridge sounded fantastic in that guitar. But what really got me was his PRS SE Soapbar.

How to mount antiquity miniHB in a P90 slot?
I understand the foot print of the plastic mounting ring fits P90. but what about screw holes?

WTT: Invader for decent octave pedal
Like the title says, I'm looking to trade an Invader for an octave pedal. Brand is not important, just as long as it tracks well. That little plastic purple Dan-O octave is an example of bad tracking

Antiquity pickups
I have a question, what is the black coat on the pole pieces of the antiquity pickups?
