How would 2 V30s and 2 G12H30s sound in a Marshall 4x12 with a Marshall JCM 800 2203? Would the total rating of 120 watts be enough for a 100 watt head? Ive heard of people using this combo in an open back cabinet, but how would it sound in a closed 4x12? Thanks for any help!

I just bought a new guitar with Schaller straplocks on them. I am embarassed to say I can't figure out how to install them. I have not been able to find any documentation either. Does anybody have any experience with them? Thanks.

Hey guys, how many of you here own either a Mustang or Cyclone (if at all)? I'm thinking about putting together a custom Mustang from Warmoth but I haven't decided on all the specs yet. I do know that I want to change some stuff like the tuners, bridge, fret sizes, etc. Just to basically keep it fairly quot;authenticquot; looking, but with more modern features.

Very cool pedal. Sort of a cross between a tremolo and a auto wah. So, far I'm digging it a lot. It's pretty much a one trick pony, but I got it used (97 model) a bit beat up due to the hand painting and all that. I sold my Vox wah pedal and got this and I like the seek wah better than a normal wah pedal. I guess I'm not coordinated enough to use a wah pedal!

I noticed the screws on a pickup are magnetic. My question is this - if the screws are more magnetic, does that equal higher output? Or the other way around, if a pickup is higher output, are the screws magnetically stronger?

I was going through some older threads the other day, when I came across a discussion of Yamaha’s attempt to bring PRS into the fold. ( from : localhost//forum/s...ad.php?t=28592)I thought that the Yamaha YSG below would provide an interesting footnote. It feels so very familiar to me, as it has a mixture of hardware from the Yamaha Image Custom and Deluxe. (I have owned both models.) I wonder if a resident PRS aficionado could provide us with more insight into this odd little piece of history.
