hi everyone...i have a fat strat, with a 59 in the bridge, and i'm looking to replace the other two pickups...i tried the SD tone wizard thing, and it recommended the vintage staggered and the hot/cool rail

i have a visual sound jeckyll amp; hyde distortion pedal (dual distortions).

I just installed the Red Lace in my Strat's bridge (to go with the Silver (mid) and Blue (neck). I'm quite impressed. It's not rip-your-head-off hot, but it's got enough output for metal. It sounds extremely even and full, just like the other Silver amp; Blue. The harmonics are excellent. Not as good as the Dimebucker I just got, but great nonetheless The first thing I did was crank the gain, and play quot;Zeroquot; by the Smashing Pumpkins. I've never had the natural harmonics sound exactly as they do on the cd before now. It's pretty obvious Billy recorded a lot with this pickup... anywho, bottom line, I like it.

Will playing a bass through a guitar amp damage the amp or speaker in some way, if played at moderate volumes?

So been lookin for a new 50watt amp. I have a Fender Telecaster MIM with a Hotstack in the bridge Vintage Stack in the neck, that I would not give up for the life of me. The tone I am looking for is pretty Diverse, kind of a gritty Country Classic rock light distortion able to rock out. The new Marshalls(JCM2000 Dsl) and Mesas seem too have no soul (if you understand what I am saying). If I had to name a band that has the tone I am going for would have to phish.

Same thing happened to my edge pro after minutes of tightening it. Any suggestions to keep it tight for a longer time?
