i'm not so sure about this, but i'm planning on buying these pickups for my godin:

I,m about ready to wire up my first project. I have come up with the layout that I want but, I am a little confused about shielding and how to run the grounds.

i'm looking for a good fuzz pedal and i was just wondering what fuzz pedals i should be looking for...

What are the pros an cans of each?

On my old strat, one of the nut slots is a bit too deep. Anything you can do, like some kind of glue, to build it up slightly?

...Alright. I've been wanting to go the low output humbucker route for a while now... And thanks to Hellrider I'm now in possesion of a 59 Bridge.

I have a American Fat Strat (H/S/S) with a TB14 in the bridge and have found the Fender Texas Specials to be a bit muddy when I adjust my amp (Marshall TSL602) to accomodate the TB14. I am looking for more of a vintage strat tone (not so much Texas tone) and output to match the TB14.

hi, when i fit my dimebucker into a guitar it was easy becuase i used the mountings that came with it, these fittings looked to use different than normal screw sizes etc.

I bought a Yamaha aes620 which came with a yamaha alnico II in the neck and a USA SD JB in the bridge.. why they didn't go with dual duncans I don't know.. anyways I replaced the crappy yamaha pickup with a covered 59 and it sounded smooth, mellow and perfect for clean tones... I put a seymour duncan pickup cover on the JB for aesthetic reasons and I think it altered the tone.. it now sounds more mellow and it seems to be stifling treble and mid response.. the only other mod I made was switching the master tone to a push/pull coil tap.. did I mess up or do pickup covers really change the tone noticeably?
