I got an A5 magnet that comes from an old JB.

I was looking at doing either SH2 Jazz(N) and SH4 JB(B) or SH1 '59(N) with the SH4 JB(B). My question is the place I am ordering from advertises them as gold, nickle, and black. Does that mean they all have covers? I would prefer all nickel covers over the black with nickle screws. The picture on the site has the SH1 with a cover, do the SH4 and SH2 have covers?

Hello. Right now I have a hotrails in my tele and it is too hot and bassy. I was thinking about getting a full size hb, but i think that might be too expensive. My tele is my only guitar, and I cant really afford a new one at the moment. I want a guitar that has decent cleans, but could also cover metal with the right amp/stompbox. would a quater pounder of lil 59 work for this? Im also playing some leads, so i don't want something too muddy. Thanks

Do any of you guys know about a pickup based on the original JB being released? Apparently it's supposed to be an EXACT replica of the original...

if i were to build a HH style guitar, would the following be possible: have it wired so that there are 4 on-on switches, each one wired to a particular coil, and each would activate/ deactivate each coil?

Just got back guys. Went to GC and they matched the price on MF saving me the sales tax. Now of course it's predictable that the salesman would say this but he did confirm that this line of the Valvetronix does have better models than the lower AD series like the 15, 30, 50 amp; 100.

Which pickups should I get for my Ibanez SZ520? For the neck I'm getting jazz. But for the bridge the custom or JB? Which one is hotter. I rather have a hot pup for the bridge. I play rock, blue, metal, jazz, about everything. Any help would be great. Thanks

i'm thinking bout using my guitars original volume and tone pots with my Kramer Pacer custom, original pots for live wires are 100k ohms and the ones fitted on the guitar is 200 kohm how does this change sound on the pickups the reason why i want to do this is because i can't find any 100kohm pots that fits in the holes on the guitar body and i don't wan't to drill these bigger since i want the body to be original.

I have just been having a look in the vault. I have a Gamp;L Legacy, with what I believe are vintage staggered pups wired in the traditional strat setup. I intend to add a jumper mod to give me tone control over the bridge pup. My question is this, does the 50's mod have the same effect as fitting the treble bleed mod. I am noticing a considrable drop off of treble as I decrease the volume so am looking to put that right. Any opinions as which mod you guys think is best would be gratefully received. The hints, tips and schematics around here are fantastic. I currently work as a radar tech, so have a grasp of electronics and the info available is superb.
