which one has a more clearer/ cleaner tone the 85 or the 81 for the bridge postion. what abot the emg 60 also. thinkin of goin either emg 81/85 emg 85/60 or 81/60 in my rhoads. yes i know i post alot of questions about pickups for my v lol

Any Orange amp owner users?

Ok so no one in my normal forum knows anything about this, so I hope you guys can help. I'm looking for a good pickup set for an Epiphone vintage g400 (in my sig). I play mostly rock, I use a lot of distortion tones (my ideal tone is Green Day's Dookie album), but I HAVE to be able to clean up well. I was thinking a 59 in the neck and a custom in the bridge? I'm not sure how they'll work together. Or maybe two 59s... I dont really know. Any comments would be welcome

How do I find a list of luthiers around my area?? I honestly do NOT trust Guitar Center to handle my guitar in any way, not after what they did to my friend's guitar. He sent his epiphone Ace Les Paul in for a set-up and it started buzzing. He went back and they couldn't fix the problem, so they sent it to epiphone for an exchange. Epiphone sent the same guitar back, saying that the problem was fixed, but there is still buzzing all around the fretboard. The only way to prevent this is for the action to be sky high! Terrible... His guitar was fine before that set-up.
