my dual rectifier that i bought used about 3 months ago is from'96, IIRC. it was freshly tubed with groove tubes throughout the entire amp, and everything on it has worked and sounded great ever since i got it, and still does.

i ran into another problem with contradicting schematics. on both the seymour duncan and the one in my book that is a 3 pickup 2 tone, 1 volume schematic, the bridge pickup gets the 3rd position lug, the middle gets the 2nd one, and the meck gets the first. i have a superswitch schematic that says the middle pickup gets #1, neck gets #2, and bridge gets 3. that doesnt make sense! so which is right? is there a misprint on the superswitch schematic, or is it because its a different layout than standard and i should go by it?

I'm still workin over my Ash Hardtail Double Fat Strat. I cant seem to find a sound I really can say I Love out of that guitar. I now have that set of 59s on the table still in the box but before I break in to em I'm thinkin maybe a set of Phat Cats might be better. How do you fellas think they'd sound in an ash bodied strat with a hardtail roller bridge. I Love the P-90 sound in my Godin LG but its all mahogany so I imagine it'll sound quite different. I'd appreciate any feedback.

I have a special edition splatter strat that I installed some new pickups in the other day, I got a JB jr. in the bridge, a duckbucker in the mid, and a lil 59 in the neck. I really have no idea what the quot;properquot; height for each of them should be. I've also noticed that the duckbucker has a seemingly smaller output or something.. it's quieter than the other two pups.. thoughts? help?

Hey guys, Just wondering, how much would you all pay for a 1980's ( 83 to 87 ) mint condition Fender Strat? A guy here is offering one for about 1400 Dollars australian.

Lew, I know you presently own a Monaco Elite. I have played few and really like the feel, tone and playability of this guitar. Only complaint is the Duncan pickups may be to hot, in particular the neck humbucker.

Is it a demand issue? Or is that what is in style tonally to the folks after them? Mid 70's Twins can be had for $450-$900 while the Deluxes I'm seeing are all going for $800-$1200 for the MV SF ones?????

These were available last fall for a short time for like 219, I didnt realize agiles were decent at the time and didnt buy one...now I want it. If you have one hit me up!
