As the title states. I'm looking to buy two white Classic or Hot Stacks (neck and middle) and a white Custom or Custom 5. I might be able to live with another color, but white is preferred.

Just Scored a Traynor BassMaster head...
from EBAY. It is an early 70's model that still uses huge Hammond transformers. It is the version without a choke and tube rectifier. More Plexi like in circuit because of this than Bassman. A little cleanup, a few new parts and some tweaking and it will be great.

WOW is all I can say!
I bought a Full Shred on Ebay for $11 because I've always wanted to try one. It arrived about a week ago and I finally had time to play with it today. One of the mounting ears was striped out so I proceded to change the base with one from a dead pup (I had to drill all the holes in the bottom... eck...)
I replaced the lead on it with a new one while I was at it. (It only had about an inch when it arrived, no wonder I got it for $11!)

Middle neck position: 4 pickup choices...
I'm looking for 2 SC sized humbuckers or single coils for my neck and middle position on my basswood strat.
If I get humbuckers they will be tapped.

How I Fattened My SG...
Instead of buying my 4th set of pups for my SG Standard, I took the advice of someone on the board and simply raised the '59 bridge pup right under the strings. The difference in the tone is huge. I went from a thin sound into a fat, warm tone and I'm still playing mostly through the PRE gain channel on my Peavey Classic 30. I can only imagine how it will sound when I can crank the POST outside of my apt.
If you are suffering from a thing SG tone, try this fix. It works!
