7 string strings???
I just bought an Ibanez RG 7621 used. This is my first 7 string an I'm really enjoying it. I had some questions for people who might know more about them.

WTB/WTT a Tele Lil 59
anyone got a Tele lil 59? Iquot;ve been wanting to change my tele's bridge to a mini bucker for a while and think I'm going to go ahead and do it. I've got a texas special tele bridge pickup that I could offer for trade if anyone is interested....if not and you have one, let me know how much!

quirky sounding amps
now that i have that sweet schematics site, i want some ideas for a quirky sounding amp. What's a design that has a very unconventional tone? Like something really different, but is pleasing? No fenders, marshalls, voxes...etc..

I actually prefer Dimarzio
I know it's like swearing in church, but I prefer Dimarzio pickups. Which is not to say I think Duncans are not great pickups, but for me, I prefer the slightly modern tone of the Dimarzio line. Having said that, I would certainly never swap out a set of Duncans if a guitar I bought came with them in, but If i'm buying new, I look to Dimarzio. I do, however, spend a lot of time on this board because of all the valuable information that is available from all the experienced guitar players. I just do not like it when people post a reply like, quot;dude, all Dimarzio's are good for is target practice, go with Duncansquot;. Someone should not be criticized for liking a particular brand of anything over another, whether it be guitar, pickup, string, amp, etc. Just my two cents.

Peter Green sound through wiring?
Is it possible to get the Peter Green *out of phase* sound through wiring as opposed to turning the magnets or pickups around?

PRS pickups in Epi Les Paul
So i'm having a rough time trying to figure out which pickups to put in my Les Paul. I mentioned i wanted a tone like Sum 41's, so i did some searching, and found out that Dave plays a PRS McCarty. Now how close would i sound to Dave if i put those pickups in my Epi Les Paul. Thanks in advance guys.
