I know what they sound like and I have one in mt GT5 but my question is how does it actually process the signal? The best I can figure is that theres some pitch-shift reciprocal-octave stuff going on and maybe some minor distortion and notch filtering... but I can't really describe it.

what amp is this?
Over at click on TOWSER TV icon at the top and they are playing a Who concert from a London club called The Forum from 2004.... Behind Roger Daltry is a small amp beside a Fender Twin Reissue... I would guess this amp is for his Acoustic guitar that he uses once in a while.... But what make and model is that thing?

Pick-up pole heights
Are there any guidelines to setting up pick-up pole heights? My poles are too high and need to be lowered, but how do I know when the pole is too low? Is it a sort of adjust and then listen thing? I have a Peavey Wolfgang with stock EVH pick-ups that had the pick-up pole pieces raised because the high strings did not seem to have the attack of the low strings, but now I am getting that out-of-phase issue because the poles are too high?

What's the deal with JCM 800's?
I used to be able to buy as many as I wanted for between $300 and $600 Canadian, now the good ones (vertical input 2204 50w head) seem to all hover around $1000 US.
