i know, i know...i don't have the Schecter out of layaway yet, but i dropped some dough on it yesterday and saw this........................!!!!Fender Big Block Tele...WoW!!!! It was absolutely gorgeous, the mirror guard with the chrome pups and the inlays and the shiny finish...sounded and felt real good unplugged...next time i go in and get quot;Peteyquot; out of layaway i may put this one in layaway...if it sounds as good plugged in as it looks!?

I rewired my Tele to have a push/pull pot to split the bridege pup and when I wired the new p/p in as the tone knob it didnt cut the tone back any. I tried several diffent times of rewiring the cap to the p/p, but nothing. I put my old pot back in and it too did nothing. In frustration I called it a night and what do ya know it was fine in the AM. Does a tone pot lose it's function while still hot from the soldering iron? And does it make sense that it worked after cooling down?

just put a used Am strat in layaway(will have it out in 2 weeks) but its time to start thinking about what i want to do with it. I was thinking either putting in blues saraceno in the bridge, or just leaving it single coil and going with the Twangbanger. i play mainly classic amp; alternative rock, but also like some twang in meh strings.

HI as you can problably tell i have a jackson dk2s. I didnt like the duncan designed sc102b bridge pickup and the sc101 single coil in the middle position.

Im guess the best pickup would be the Evenly voiced harmonic one, but thats a little expensive. I dont mind paying that much if it is the best one for EVH's old tone, but is there any that are as good for EVH tone?

ok i am pondering selling my copper 1 of a kind 2002 prototype Gibson les paul. it's 100% real deal 1 off Gibson, not a copy or a fake or anything like that. most of you are familiar with it. anyway, i do not have a set price yet and i am not 100% set on selling it either. i love this guitar and there is just some magic to it that everyone who sees it and plays it sees. however, i hardly ever play it due to it's rarity so i'm thinking of passing it along.

Has anyone ever heard of Crafter guitars? Are they related to Tokai as this eBay auction leads to believe?
