Has anyone ever heard of Crafter guitars? Are they related to Tokai as this eBay auction leads to believe?

I'm looking to get a decent quality PRS style guitar in the $300-$500 range. I would replace the pickups and possibly other hardware. The main question is does anyone know if the guitar itself is of good enough quality to even bother hot rodding a little.
I've had really good luck with just adding a couple of Duncans to my Epi LP and getting the tone I want, I would like to do the same with a guitar like this.
*EDIT* I just realized that this store is located only about an hour and a half away. Maybe I'll go try the guitars out myself.
yes, i've seen crafter acoustics at the local shop. i noticed them when tryin out a couple of yamaha APX for a friend.they look amazing condering their price. but i've never tried them. dint know they made electrics too.
As far as I know Crafter is a Korean based company ,whereas Tokai is Japanese.
Crafter are not made by Tokai.
They are made in the same factory as the Korean Tokais.
I haven't tried one. But, I've heard very good things about them.
I like the fact that in the design they have a mahogany neck and body, rosewood board, maple top, etc..
In other words closer to a real PRS.
So many of the Korean PRS copies look like a PRS but have totally different woods. Dillion comes to mind.

i took a chance on a crafter acoustic, with the right strings and setup i'm really digging it.
