how many Les Paul shaped guitars do u own? doesnt matter if its Gibson or not..
talk about your axes, show some pics , make others drool

would be great if you pple not only vote, but talk about your axes tooo!

this is a RETALIATION to the Tele thread!! go LP go LP!!

p/s: i put a ending date for the pole so the thread doesnt get unnecesarrily bumped to the top after months or so.

I've got one Epi LP (which can be seen on the left or on the link below) and an LP-shaped acoustic with piezo-pickup.
I actually was about to get a strat when I checked out all kinds of guitars. This LP felt so great, played so well and responded to my playing - it was amazing. She weights 8.8 pounds and has a very sweet and juicy tone. I was used to a thin Ibanez wiz`zard neck, so it took a few days to get along with the thick neck. I even think that my playing style changed, I'm more concentrating on the tone and quot;working with itquot;. I love it

This is my Heritage 150My LG is somewhere between a LP and tele, but here it is
Luke

two for me...i'd like another 2 though, a gold top and a trans amber with a monster flame top...but for now i have these two...

both are Gibsons, not clones...-Mike

Man, Mike, you do have some nice guits.

I have an Epi Lp that's old and beat to ****. Ironically, the Gibson I own isn't the traditional LP shape.

I´d kill for this guitar

2001 LP Prem Plus honeyburst flametop 50th Ann. engraved Seth Lovers.
1990 pre Historic LP 57 Reissue UGD Overwound C-5/59n
1989 35th Ann. 3 pickup Black Beauty Custom. Gold C-5/59/59
This one is for sale....a 97 DeArmond M-72 with black finished mahogany back/neck, flamed maple trans black top, two-tone chrome/gold hardware, stock USA DeArmond pickups. Made in Korea in the 90's, and was discontinued because it rivaled the quality of Guild. When Fender bought Guild, they stopped making these. They started making them again, but the quality is nowhere near these. This is really a great guitar that sounds and plays much better than Epiphones. These are the best deal you can get on a guitar because they're equal to $800 guitars. If anyone's interested, send me $350 shipped, and you'll get this mint guitar in a nice case FedX'd to you. This is the best LP shaped guitar you'll get for anywhere near that price.

I got two LP Classic's at the moment. One with Antiquity's and the other got a Custom in the bridge. I have ordered a set of EMG 81/85 for it so this will be my quot;metalquot; axe. I prefer the slim 60's neck and all of my guitar necks are sanded down on the back. Great feel. Both are put to use regularely so they are not in quot;showquot; condition.

Nothing beats a good Gibson LP in my book!
