Does anyone have or has anyone played an EHx Polyphonic Octave Generator (POG)? The clips on thier site as well as on musician friend's site are awesome. Do they track well? Are they easy to dial in good sounds?

Listened very closely all night to sound samples and read the tone chart a couple times. My final decision is an Alnico II Pro (neck) and a Duncan Custom (bridge). I like how these seem smooth but bassy. Should give me a very round tone.

I decided i needed a new guitar...nothing major, but i wanted a classy guitar w/ some weaker pickups..and by weaker pickups i mean non EMG's and Alinco...so i decided to buy a Agile AL 2500 in White from : localhost/really haven't heard nething bad from you guys about Agile..and i have heard that they are much better then the Epiphone's newhere near this price range, so i figured i would give it a show..looks like a very nice guitar for the price..

After I get most of my guitar stuff up and rolling due to the fact I originally wanted to play bass but got started on guitar first. Plus bassists are always in demand unlike guitarists who I hate to say it, in the world of metal can be a dime a dozen. Yet if I do learn bass, I hope I can try and play with my fingers instead of a pick. I thought a good beginner bass would be either a Ibanez Iceman because I liked the tone my friend had with it, a Fender P-bass standard, or a OLP Musicman.

What do you think of this combo I was considering? I have a Fender Highway 1 Strat w/rosewood fretboard that I put GraphTech saddles on. I play through a Mesa DC5 combo (single 12quot;), and a Mesa 2-12quot; extension cab.
Bridge: Li'l Screamin' Demon

Trying to decide between one of these for my second guitar. Can't play either one, I know that's a cardinal sin, but living in Podunk USA doesn't give me an opportunity to play anything but Fender, Gibson, and ESP within 2 hours drive. I have bought other gear over the net without having to return any of it due to digging up clips, reviews, and opinions from guys like you. I currently have a Vox Valvetronix 30watt and an Ibanez SZ with Dimarzio (sorry, that's what was in it when i bought it). And I have ordered a Traynor YCV 50Blue. Wanting the single cut look, also considering Fernandes Ravelle. I'm not much of a single coil guy, the strats I've played just don't do it for me.
