Hey everyone. I currently have a Roland GR-33 Guitar Synthesizer (including the special cable and the AC adaptor). I'm interested in trading it for an Electro-Harmonix Microsynth (retails for $260) and either a E-bow ($79) or a Boss TU-2 chromatic tuner ($99). So adding up the value of the stuff that I want, it comes to either $340 or $360 depending on wether I get the E-bow or Tuner.

FS 1988 Husqvarna 430XC Dirt Bike. BBBBBRRRRRAPPPP!
Hey all! I have an '88 Husky in nice shape. I rebuilt the top end and have about 1 hour on it. It needs to be jetted yet but runs great. This bike is fast and powerfull. It was the last year they were made in Sweden. I live in NJ so this is for the local Bros. I'm going to list it elsewhere for $1,000 but I'll let it go for $900 to an SD friend. Drop me a line and we'll talk.

Ideal fret preparation?
Ok, I finally dropped big $$ and had my first professional set up. This is a local luthier that makes accoustic and violins. He said my guitar had some neck warpage that he adjusted out. (LP I bought used) He leveled the frets and left them flat on top. Said this way wears slower cuz if you peak them, the peaks will wear. Makes sense, but flat top frets are a different concept than I ever thought.. Is this whacked?? Sadly, the action was too low and buzzed and the pup was too high and was muddy. He said if I wanted readjusted he would do it, but I dont have time to go back to him. So, I adjusted the action up and bridge pup.. Neck seems perfect on every note now tho. What is your take on the frets???

Noiseless P-90's.. sound difference?
Anyone have experience with stacked or otherwise noiseless P-90's? I'm considering ordering a set, but I'm also afraid that some of the P-90 mojo won't be there. (Loss of highs, etc). By the same token, the Custom P-90 in my strat can get downright noisy at times, so you can understand my predicament.

Just found an old Invader in the car...
I was cleaning out the car today and found an old 2 conductor Invader my friend and I pulled out of a guitar years ago. I know the other pickup in the set was taken apart and was basically destroyed but this one might just work. Is there any way to check without popping it into a body?

Fender Single Coils vs. Duncan Single Coils
This may not be news to anyone here, but I believe I've discovered that Fender's single coil pickups can have different magnet orientations within their own line of pickups, depending on the model.

And now for something completely different?
I'm planning on finally selling my Parker Nitefly. I never play it, it doesn't suit my tastes anymore, and it's very temperamental. I ought to be getting around $400-500 for it which is enough to get a new piece of gear.

2 Weber beam blockers 1 small 1 large for sale
I have 2 almost new Weber beam blockers. They mount to your speaker screws and sit in front of the cone to diffuse the high crap when you stand in front of your cab or when the cab is pointed at the crowd . You always like the sound of your cab when standing near the side so these beam blockers give you that tone in front of the cab. I have a small one and a large one. I was experimenting with my V30 speakers and it gets rid of the high crap from these and the g12t75 speakers in Marshalls. I bought 2 Governors and they arent as annoying as the V30 speakers so I dont need the beam blockers. They are in perfect condition

what does it mean....
when i'm playing my tele and it feels as if the strings are scraping on the frets? my first inclination is to say that the tops of the frets are not smooth, as if they are all scuffed up and thus making the strings not glide on them smoothly when bending.....its not big deal just playing on frets, but when bending, i get this metal on metal type friction when i bend and its very frustrating, i want to grind my teeth when i sense that its happening

Argh!!! Non foot switchable reverb.
An ongoing problem as I tend to get a bit anal about exactly how much reverb I should be using at different points in a song.

prs 5 way
Hi, I had a custom guitar made about 4 years ago and had the maker put two seymour duncan pickups in, i also asked him to put a fishman acoustic pickup in. My problem now is that the quot;TB4quot; pickup at the bridge broke a few weeks ago and when i took it to be replaced i asked the guy to strip out the acoustic pickup (which he did) and asked him if he could replace the acoustic volume control with a push pull pot to change from humbucker to single coil. He said I couldn’t do this because of the selector switch (5 way prs rotary pot) I just wondered if anyone here had any ideas of how to get around this problem? (P.S. the the way it’s wired now has dropped the volume of the split signal (single coil) to almost unusable. That is the third time it has been in the shop so I don’t want to spend any more money on him looking at it, so I was just going to have a go myself. Thanks for any help. Alfie. (sorry it's a bit long winded)

Some Help with Amp modding,please.
ok, it's not really modding but a slight alteration. I wanna change my Spider II 30W 1x12 Combo into a closed back just to give it a tighter sound and so on. The woodwork itself isn't a problem but would it even be worth the effort? The speaker is a celestion G12E-50(custom design for line 6 so no further information to get). So if anyone here can help me to find out if it would be worth it and if there are any special wood recommendations i would greatly apreciate it. Thanks in Advance.
