The electric bass that I've been using smells like maple syrup like hardcore, i mean if your 10 feet away from it u can smell it. I was just wondering if there was anyway i could get it to not smell any more.

I have an Ibanez RG1570 with Basswood body and Edge Pro floating trem and i wanted some input on which bridge pickup would rip for Metal on this guitar? I was going to get a DiMarzio Super Distortion or Tone Zone but i thought i would check out some advice on s as well. What would be Duncans equivalent to the Super Distortion or Tone Zone? Because of the type of guitar i have you need to get something bass and mids heavy to accomodate the loss from a Basswood guitar with a floating trem,at least,that`s what i`ve heard!!!!! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have had this problem since i put in my new dimarzio paf joe. I have a standard les-paul wiring setup. i put a duncan distortion in the bridge position no problem at all. When i put in the paf joe i get hum when the 3-way swith is in the middle and neck positions. I have since rechecked the wiring and it is correct to the wiring specs set forth. RED= hot out GREEN and BARE =back of pot BLACK and WHITE soldered and tapped with electrical tape. Any ideas. Could the two pick ups be out of phase?? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks a billion.

Well, I've got a great Agile AL-2500 LP copy (mahogany body, set maple neck with rosewood fretboard)

I'm thinking of getting a Gretsch electromatic Duo Jet. It has some TV Jones designed mini humbuckers that sound okay, but nothing like the Filtertron pickups in the more expensive models. Does Duncan offer something that will fit in the Electromatic route (it actually looks bigger than the dual humbucker size).

Well, I went and bought a Schecter C1 Elite yesterday.

Well, the Edana Cherry Head arrived yesterday. I must admit they did a nice job on it. It's rather simple, but I like that. It doesn't have 10 coats of handrubbed poly over the stain or anything, but it sure looks good.
