When changing strings is it bad to take them all off at once and proced to put new ones one or should they be done one string at a time till you eventualy have new strigns on?

I used to own a very quiet Holier Grail pedal. Sold it. Just bought a regular Holy Grail. It's noisy as hell. I have a good power source (One Spot), also tried the included power source.

I've seen a few threads on pedal building etc... and this got me to thinking.

Double Black coils. One mounting tab's threads are stripped... otherwise, it is in great shape.. Would work for someone who does direct mount. Not sure how this affects the price. Make offer $$ ?. Thx.

What is the best Kramers from the 80's to keep an eye out for..... a local store had a white USA strat style in with 2 single coils, one JB and a floyd but i felt they wanted too much for it...... they wanted almost $500 Canadian... I used to like the looks of the single humbucker Barretta's.....

What kind of switch do I need to replace the one in my MXR Flanger? I have heard that I could put in a different one that is already in it that would make it true bypass and that I could add an LED to it without changing the tone. Thanks.

hi there, I just wanna know what pick-ups would be best suited for my epiphone goth reissue 58 flying V. I'm considering the SD '59 models (both neck and bridge) and humbucker from hell for neck and tone zone for bridge...my friend told me that i should go for the '59 models for variety sake because I already have tone zone from my rg470...does anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for a vintage tone though, just to get off from my RG tone for awhile thanks for all the help

What else is out there other than the wah? I'm talking about effects from pretty simple (Tychobrahe Parapedal?/Chicago Iron Parachute?) to wacked out... Think about a Dlx Electic Mistress in quot;Filter Matrixquot; mode, but with an expression pedal controlling the resonance point. How about any LFO controlled pedal with the LFO disconnected and a sweeping expression pedal generating the sound? What about a ring modulator with the tone controlled by the expression pedal? Even things like the Univibe and Rotovibe with footcontrolled speed are cool. What are some other possibilities?

im looking for a cabinet, alternative to a 1960a/b, to match a dsl50 head. the stack seems to me to be cliche and stuff. and i wanna try something with better speakers like greenbacks or vintage 30's or any eminence speakers. can you guys help me out? I was thinking maybe a randall xl or a marshall 1960tv or something. these is leading me to another question...aside form speakers, are cabinets basically the same but just some brands are more expsensive than others?
