Guys, would a TubeScreamer (modded of course) add enough versitility to warrant adding one to my rig?

I believe this to be the ultimate guitar for me. I was wondering what the quickest (and er, cheapest ) way to get there was? I was thinking a Charvel model 3a with a maple neck...Or a model 3a body with Warmoth neck, or all warmoth. Or do any other brands had pointy strats necks made of maple similar to this?

Hey guys, I'm looking to trade my DOD envelope filter. It's a cool little pedal, but I don't really have much of a use for it anymore. Works pretty well as a filter, and fun to experiment with. By no means a boutique pedal, but if you're looking for an envelope filter to experiment with, this is a great choice. In excellent/near-new condition; it hasn't taken any abuse, and I haven't used it for gigs. I'm looking for something like a DS-1 or SD-1, but I'm open for others. I'll get some pics up tomorrow. How hard is it to move the pickup selector toggle to replace one of the tone knobs and wire a master tone knob, and what about the hole left from the original position of toggle switch?

Anyone tried one from : localhost/tried to make a homemade one and although it made some interesting sounds, they're harder to make than it looks.

This is one beast of a cab. Just got myself a $240 speeding ticket though, and I need to pay it off somehow. I'll be looking for a cheaper 2 x 12, so if anyone has one, let me know. The cab is in great condition with a few minor tears in the back. About 60 hours of playing time on it. Comes with removable casters. This cab will be great for anyone looking at a quality 4 X 12. The bass is huge on this thing, which can be a good or bad thing. I prefer my bass from the bassist. It is a great cab though. 425 plus shipping gets it. OBO.

Are you guys self taught or did you take lessons?

I am wanting to change p/u's in my wolfgang. I never play it because I'm not impressed with the tone. I changed the p/u's about a year ago with dimarzio air zone and air norton. They sound really muffled and too much low end. It doesn't do harmonics and tap harmonics really well at all. I'm looking for something with good harmonics and cuts well. Someone at SD recommended a custom and a jazz neck. Any suggestions?

I'm a big fan of the Texas Special pickups and am curious as to what single coil in the Duncan line would be the equivalent or be comparable to them. I'm guessing either the SSL-1, APS-1 or SSL-5 (tapped), but I haven't played either of those so I don't know, just guessing.

Any thoughts on this guitar?
