I have four rs232 balances inputing data into an excel worksheet (this will
be referred to as 'the worksheet'). The software is in development in Visual
Basic and at the moment it will drop info from balance 1, to column ranges
A-E, balance 2 F-J, etc, incrementing rows for each subsequent input etc. I
need the data to finally go into a seperate final spreadsheet for each
balance. I have setup links from this final spreadsheet to take the data
from quot;the worksheetquot;.
The problem I am having is that if quot;the worsheetquot; is opened first, before
the final spreadsheets, then the data will go into ANY active spreadsheet
(not what I want), but the links work. If I open quot;the worksheetquot; last (the VB
program actually opens quot;the worksheetquot;) then the dat will always go into the
right sheet, no matter what spreadsheet is active, however, then my links
will not work. It appears that my final spreadsheets are not recognizing quot;the
worksheetquot; as quot;the worksheetquot;.

If anyone may have any tips for me please help!
