I was enter dates of birth in a column as month/date/year. The year was
entered as two digits. 2/7/31 appeared in cell as 2/7/1931.
However, once I got below 1930 and entered a date as 2/1/29, it appeared in
the cell as 2/1/2029. Can you tell me what was happening?

Look in your regional windows settings, windows gt; start gt; settings gt; control
panel and regional and language options (assuming you are using windows
xp), then click customize and date and there you can set it
