I recently bought a Phat Cat pickup, and it's a bridge pickup. I was wondering about putting it in my neck.. what would that sound like? I'm playing an epiphone les paul studio. I have a burstbucker 3 in the bridge, so that's hot as it is and I don't want it overpowering the single coiled phat cat.
I'm mainly asking whether or not it's okay to put this bridge designated pickup in my neck or should I return it and just get a neck pickup?

does anyone happen to know the value of the DC resistance for the gibson 498T humbuckers that come stock in SG's? (the bridge pickup). i'm sooooort of thinking about experimenting with different pickups in this guitar, and i'd just like to be able to compare it's specs to the specs of other various humbuckers. thanks.

hi dudes... i was wondering whats about prs... in the states there is a huge number of guys with prs on their own...but here in europe i rarely see one or two after a thousand fenders, gibson and RG/JEMs (yeah, that should be an entire brand)... and i wonder if this thing its because of the price or the quality/price, or the whole year waiting thing...or whatever

What is a speed neck?

I just got a Schecter CV5 (35quot; 5-string bolt on with MM bridge and jazz neck) that came with a BEQ-3 preamp. I am concerned b/c the output from this circuit is extremely low - much lower than my passive P-bass with stock pus.

I've been having this problem for awhile. I've tried to figure it out and asked on here before but never could fix it so I've just gotten used to it.

Hey guys, I finally got my PODxt!!! The catch is that I can't play it yet cause I'm on vacation in the USA and I'm guitar-less until I come back to Israel. Well in the mean-time, I learned of this program called Line 6 Edit, and I got some patches for my POD. So question is how am I going to switch my patches in the Line 6 Edit program to my PODxt? Just a personal observation, but since I purchased a Gamp;L with single coils, I really find that the split coil sound of my LP (Jazz/JB) is horrible in comparison. Anyone else experience this?
