What do you think are the best pickups for funk?
Umm depends... Single Coils usually, probabally an APS or SSL.
I've had good luck with the Fender CS 57/62 pickups, APS2 set, Phat Cat set, Pearly Gates set, and the APH/CC combo when used split or parallel.
