I need some single coil pickups for the middle and neck positons.

I just finshed installing an SH-8 invader in my Dean Zone (Strat Style, Two humbuckers) guitar. I believe the body is alder and the neck is maple.

I saw Warmoth selling 25½” scale bolt-on Les Paul copy. I wonder what would be the point of longer scale and bolt-on if what you want is Les Paul.

are yours kinda noisy when you turn them up? i turn mine up, not even half way and it hums like i have a bad ground... could be the building, its an OLD house. i just got one a few weeks ago and i love it. i can deal with the noise, i was just wondering if anyone else has this issue.....

Well there's a guitar shop here in town that has a 1988 MIA Fender Strat with a stock Kahler tremolo system with locking nut....now I'd been looking for a floyd rose equipped guitar for a little while, just to tinker with, but I like this one better because it's non-floating. It's blue color, and it's a little beat up, but plays nice..maple fretboard. and they only want $450..anyone got any info on these? (it also has a red fender lace sensor pickup in the bridge position)

Ok, so heres the deal. I had a Squier Standard Fat strat in a color I've never seen elsewhere, and I was looking for another strat (I don't know why, I just really love strats). Anyway, it's just my luck a guy had a used 1998 Fender Mexican Standard strat for half the price of new. This wasn't just great but even better because I was looking at the same one (exept with a humbucker). So I called and FINALLY got a hold of him (as did many others) and I was able to go and try it out...and I boought it, right there in his house, and I am so happy I did.
It's black with a maple fretboard and 3 S-C (if it was my choice I would've gotton wine red or blue agave, and I was still debating on the fretboard wood...if I liked rosewood I was thinking about the Fender Deluxe too).
