Just got a new 50's Esquire!
Hey Everyone.... just got my hands on the new 50's Esquire yesterday! I find that i'll be very satisfied with it, after a few personal touches are added of course but right off the rack, still a very quot;vintagequot; feeling and playing guitar.

LR Baggs M1 Active Acoustic Pickups
i am gonna be buying an after market pickup for my Larrivee D-03 and seemed to be settled on getting this model. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on the quality or sound of the M1 AS pickup?

opinions on blues junior
just wondering wat u guys think about the blues junior. it seems like a pretty good small tube amp. ill prolly make 600 sellin some old gear and invest in that. i heard the stock speaker sucks tho, so ill prolly get a greenback or one of those new eminence speakers. so basically im just wonderin if its worth it, or are there better small 15watt-ish tube amps around that price range? maybe carvin or somethin idk

Tele wood question
What is the best body wood to use for a Tele if wanting lightweight and resonance? I have had many Teles, but I never payed any attention to the wood used.

Guitar Question
I am sorry for this question but I am new to guitar. I bought an Ibanez AEL50SE Acoustic Electric guitar. Here is a link if this helps. from : localhost/I have been practicing on this guitar for about 2 months. I really like it. I was wondering if the action could be adjusted on it and where at? Is it better to do this at the nut or the saddle? My electric plays really well and this acoustic isn't too bad either. I just have a little trouble with some of my barre chords on this acoustic. I know an acoustic is going to be a little harder to play then my electric but after 2 months I thought it would be easier by now.

Bluze Cruise
Here's an old home recording of my wife at the time, me, and a drum machine. I had just started teaching my ex to play bass. It's a slow blues so it starts off laid back and then picks up after a minute or 2.

Whats a good 15watt tube amp?
whats a good 15-30watt tube amp with enough gain for heavy rock but warm enough to sound decent clean?
(if it helps: for my home because a bigger tube amp would be to loud, I know i wont get this kind of tone but I like, Van halen, Jimi, SRV, and funk, any suggestions would be nice)

Sound City Amps
Ok. I have been looking all around for a fairly cheap Non-master volume, loud, and clean as hell amp. I found the Sound city 100 and 120. Some of the guys on another fourm I go to say these things are awesome for clean headroom and a good base for pedal users(Something I am). I plan on using a pedal for my distortion so no problem there. Just how loud and clean are these things? and how much do they usually go for?
