can anyone say what type of output the sd quarterpound pu may have in the mid position compared to my full hum jb in the bridge?? will the qp be louder than the jb?? how about the 2nd combined sound?

Ive seen a couple of posts debating which one gets Dime's tone or just saying one is quot;betterquot; than the other. Frankly, i don't really care which he used, i love his sound and his playing but im definently not trying to copy any specific tone of his. I have a pretty good idea of how the Dimebucker sounds, but how does the 500XL in comparison. How do they differ in output, frequency response, dynamics etc.? Thanks!

hey just wonderin if neone wanted to buy a standard fender strat, i think its like a 96? not sure.. its in decent condition, no major flaws except that a little part of the nut is chipped away. pickups are a classic stack in the middle and a quarter pounder in the neck. in the bridge theres a dimarzio hs1. it gives some pretty nice tones for a mexi. ill sell it for 225 if the buyer wants to pay shipping. its black with a maple fretboard. ill post pics if anyone is interested. ill also throw in a fender gig bag and a red dunlop strap.

Got my '59 bridge model from the ebayer. Took it down to my local guitar repairer. She drew me an icy look when she found she would have to work on a 335. Then she saw the pup, and complimented me on my good taste.

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm trying to find a MIJ Stratocaster and was wondering if anyone knows of a reputable site I can get one at? I might go up to the music store tomorrow and ask if they can find me one, but knowing them they'll come up with an elaborate story and overcharge me.
