Hey guys, I've been trying to find a listing of the small parts and their sources in the Forumcaster area, but can't seem to find anything specific. Could someone post this info please? Specifically I am looking for the source on the bridge and the control knobs.

I've been looking for a practice amp/take to small jams and I've been browsing musiciansfriend for a new one and checking out the ones with sound clips.

Well, I've wanted one of these for sometime now. I never really thought I'd pull together enough scratch to buy a Standard of any kind. I sold most all my other guitars, waited for the right time, and what do you know...here it is! She's an '04 Standrad. Gibson has redeemed themselves in my eyes with this one. I'm sure you all remember the compliants I had with my Classic! Aside from a pretty intense buckle rash on the back, She's in great condition. It's lighter than my SG-X, brighter too. You can feel that acoustic resonsnce up through the ribs! It's a keepr! I don't know if it's considered a quot;flawquot;, but the inlays have these small patches of yellow in them. I really like it, makes 'em look old. The 490 neck is staying for now, but I gotta get a Custon or a C5 in the bridge. The 498 has got to go. It's far too weak for my ears. Anyway, what you all REALLY wanted:

I was looking at this amp online, and my main question was quot;can it do cleans?quot; I like Dumble-ish drive tones a lot, but I always love an amp to have a decent clean. That's my question to anyone who's played one. Thanks!

For those of you keeping track of my progress, finally got in the face and back plates for the Franklin. Unfortunately, I have to leave town in a few minutes. I'll have to wait until Friday to put them on. Then, the cab should be here by Friday, time for pictures this weekend hopefully.

Can anyone help me figure out how to wire a guitar with the signal going through the Tone pot and then the Vol?

Any one have a need for a flight case for a Flying V, once owned by Jim Peterik (of Ides of March fame and co-founder of Survivor). He used to transport his '58 Flying V, you can see the imprint of the inline vol and tone contols in the foam, and the serates from the rubber on the bottom wing, it's yellow, in very good condition. $150 shipped in Con US.

Anybody ever try any Kendrick speakers?

Both me and the other guitarist in my band picked up some used ds1's to mess around with, i was going to use mine as a boost and he was going to use it for a different tone, but we both hate them. Mine is newer (i think an 04) and was made in taiwaan with a silver label, his is older and a bit beat up, but was made in japan with a black label. is there any difference between them? they seem to have the same type of sound, but is one better than the other?

Alright, my understanding is to replace all the 250k pots with 500k pots (3) and wire everything exactly the same, and where the lead went from the stock bridge single coil, solder the black from the duncan JB there, tape off the red and white wires, and ground the green and bare to the volume pot correct? And, do I leave the capicitor on the bottom tone pot since I switched to 500k pots or remove that and solder a wire from the post it was on to the bottom of the tone pot?
