Alright, my understanding is to replace all the 250k pots with 500k pots (3) and wire everything exactly the same, and where the lead went from the stock bridge single coil, solder the black from the duncan JB there, tape off the red and white wires, and ground the green and bare to the volume pot correct? And, do I leave the capicitor on the bottom tone pot since I switched to 500k pots or remove that and solder a wire from the post it was on to the bottom of the tone pot?

wiring my 3 pickups w/selector
hey guys, a friend of mine recommended this forum cuz he said you guys are the best so i need some help figuring out a particular wiring scheme for my customized fender p bass. to start its got a dimarzio p j pickup set up on it and i wanted to go further and add a duncan quarter pound single coil p bass pickup and install this up close to the neck. to make switching tones easier i wanted to add a 3 way on/off/on switch to activate my neck and bridge pickups and thus give me the options of neck middle/middle/middle bridge at any given time. ive attached a schematic of what i think the wiring should be. in particular im unsure about how to wire the pickups into the selector (no experience with it) i want to keep the 3 vol and 1 tone set up to make sure i can shape my sound and evenly apply my tone, plus having a bunch of knobs looks cool. so if there are any corrections that need to the diagram please let me know.

Does anyone know where I can order the kind of tone pots that click off and bypass the tone when turned all the way up? I don't even know the proper name for it.

question about Framus 2x12 cab
I have a Marshall jcm900 2500 Hi Gain Master Volume 50 watt amp, and I was wondering whether this Framus can handle my amp, it's the 212 CS cab on the bottom of this page: from : localhost/have read that it was designed for Carlos Santana, so I guess it's good, but people, feel welcome to chime in about Framus.

Did I Fry A Pot?
I took the pups out of my LP Standard. Potted the 59'(n) that I had just slid a cover on, and put the C5 back in the bridge. I noticed a wierd microphonic problem. When I tap the neck tone control post, it makes a wierd hollow noise thru my amp. Also, the neck volume pot is either on or off, with almost no rolloff inbetween the two.

squier 5
Does the AJB-5 Jazz Bass Pair Set fit the Squier 5. I love the wide neck but plan (as most squier 5 owners) to replace the pickups. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
