I need to find a Tele neck pickup (or something that looks like one) that works well in the bridge position. I want something that mounts perpindicular to the strings, not at an angle like most Tele bridge pups. Ideally, I want something that looks like this, but sounds like a P-90. Anyone have a suggestion?
I gotta tell ya, there really isn't anything that sounds like a P-90 other than a P-90, except maybe a mini-humbucker. The thing is, they're just so damn great sounding. What exactly are you trying to do? Maybe that'll help your answer.

Phat Cat SG!
I just had an idea - what if you took a standard SG and placed a Phat Cat between the Gibson humbuckers? Not only would it look stylish (three near identical pickups) but either of the humbuckers split with the Phat Cat has just got to sound great!

Single-sized humbucker Tele bridge pickup? Which one?
I love the Tele sound. However, I don't want to buy any more guitars and I need a dual humbucker guitar. Right now my Tele copy has a Gibson Burstbucker 2 in the neck and some Duncan Designed single coil in the bridge. I'd rather just get a true Tele down the road as this really isn't much of a true Tele (mahogany-like body...kapere?...big frets, rosewood fretboard, super thin neck...etc. I also plan on putting a Bigsby on it).

Rondo Music amp; Agile LP
Well, I finally went to Rondo Music in NJ to check out the (MIK) Agile LP as a gift for my son. They are the only source for new Agile guitars. They sell in-store on eBay and through their web site. Since I only work 1/2 hour away I figured it was worth the trip.

Antiquity Minihumbucker vs. Antiquity Firebird
Does anyone know the differences between these 2 types of pickups in terms of design, output and tone?

OK, I officially HATE Floyds now!
Alright, I have had problems with my Floyd before... but I'm at may breaking point with the thing. I have been trying to string it for 3 days now. Every time I try to string the B.. it comes flying out of the saddle. It just.. won't.. STAY. I have ruined 3 strings doing this. Is there anything I should do to prevent this? Is it my bridge's fault or mine? I'm sure it's probably something I'm doing wrong.. but god I'm frustrated. I am never EVER buying a guitar with a Floyd again. Looks like I might turn into a Gibson man after all

Save my Strat!
I bought a Gamp;L Legacy (Strat-style) last week. While it's a great playing axe, it just sounds way too much like a Strat. The only worthwhile sound on a Strat is the neck position, IMO.

PG vs DD
I know they are different in a lot of ways but they are similar in some ways as well. I have never tried a DD but I just won on on Ebay and I may replace a PG bridge in one of my guitars with it and would like to know what I might expect. Is the DD brighter, better cleans, raspier, etc.

Tonebone Hot British
I want to push my Rivera Chubster little bit more for heavier music. I've been searching for pedals for this and I found that Hot British is very highly regarded. Does anyone have any feedback?

Anyone ever use a EMG HB? In a guitar?
Its a bass pickup but is the same size as a 81/85/89 etc. The specs show a rez freq of 4.5 versus 2.25 for the 81. Which I dont know what that means or how it relates to sound....Im just curious what this will sound like in a guitar rather than a bass. Better low end perhaps? Dogpoop? Anybody have any ideers? Thanks

Any Orange Rocker 30 owners?
Posted on Saturday and the thread got buried. Loved the amp as I need something more portable, but I'm curious as to how much headroom the clean channel. Incidentally, the clean channel has nothing but a volume. No EQ, no pre-amp, nothing.
