So, i was wondering what kind of sound you would get if you used a Phat Cat neck and a custom bridge.

before mij fenders and squiers made in the 80s, there are a few manufacturers that made fender replicas and these guitars are loosely termed 'lawsuit' guitars.

How much of a difference is there between the C5 and CC, I just recently Installed the 59N/C5 combo back in my PRS McCarty after trying a few High priced pickups.

maple/maple, medium jumbo stainless steel frets, earvana nut, frets in good shape, a few marks, nothing into the wood itself...i got this neck from Brisk about a year ago...i was saving it for my quot;TeleHossquot; project and had started to try and trade it for a bigger neck...after all...i usually play bass and this is a wizard neck...but...such as things can be in life...i just need to sell it!

Well little less than a week ago I bought a full shread humbucker. Problem now is i cant find the right schematics to install it properly ( where to solder each wire) If anyone could help that would be great. I have a epiphone sg special and trying to put the bridge pickup in.

Ok, I'm going deaf playing through my 100 watt head. I'm thinking of pulling 2 power tubes to cut the power in half and save whats left of my hearing. I wish to get the sound, tone and breakup I get when I crank it beyond 7, but at a lower volume. I know alot of you fellow members have done this to your rigs already and I wish to hear your experiences good and bad.

Hi guys.. I have a DD trem bucker / f spaced .. I stuck in my RG 550 with maple neck and trem.. it sounds good, but I want to try my newly aquired Dimarzio Tone Zone which I think just sounds better in these guitars.. since Dimarzio and Ibanez seemed to be joined at the hip.. hehe.. Anyway, I had thought that I might like to try the Distortion in the neck since I thought it was too bright in the bridge anyway, but the output was too high and it would drown out the Tone Zone I was afraid, so I'm thinking if I could write it to be single coil all the time in the neck, it would be almost perfect. I don't want to ahve to use a coil splitter device thought like a volume knob or such.. Can someone hlep me write this? OR tell me how?

ok so like how do i use a Stereo jack ( one with 3 lugs ) as a mono one ? ( one with 2 lugs ) i dont have any mono jacks but i have a stereo jack and im just curious how to wire this up ? do i just need to stick a wire across some terminals ? or is it a no go ?

40 watts! Holy crap. I finally got a 40-watt iron after always using 25-watts and soldering is so much easier and faster. I know this isn’t news to the many electronic experts on the forum, but to anyone else like me, get an iron that’s 40-watts!

i dun think the axe has enuf mass to produce a good tone. the body is too small.

hi everybody i checked out the classic stack the single coil. and um i have a fat strat i want to put the classic stack in the middle position. they only sell the bridge and the neck position classic stack. which one would be better the classic stack neck or the classic stack bridge for the middle position. mark

Are the Duncan 59's more noisey then some of the other Duncan humbuckers out there? Mine seems to have some interference or noise that does not happen with my other guitars. And yes the guitar is sheilded and the wireing is 100% correct, which was double checked by a local pro tech...

I was wanting to know If what Im hearing in the soundclips on the emg site is what im getting. Its been pretty truthful on the 81 and 85.I just read a few reviews that said they are low output, but the soundclips seem to be higher output then the EMG-89 I have in the bridge of my BC rich.
