I'm assuming it is but I need help from the PRS experts here. I've never played one until today while at my local music store. Rosewood neck with dot inlays, 2 humbuckers (exposed coils. Stock?), volume, tone (with push/pull), 3-way selector switch, tremelo bridge and locking tuners. The body was'nt real thick which surprised me, color was kind of a dark blue over what appeared to be maple top, as the grain was running across the top. This guitar has definatley been played. Dings on the body as well as on the head, buckle-rash...a players guitar. Felt like it needed a slight truss rod adjustment due to a bit of fret buzz around the middle of the neck, but the frets themselves appeared to have little wear. It felt very sturdy and played like a dream come true. My God did it play!! I don't know if the neck is considered to be the fat-wide type, but it did feel just a bit wider than the neck on my Strat. Radius was a bit flatter too. I'm gonna think about it tonight because I don't like to jump at things that I don't know much about (like a PRS), especially when you're talking about an expensive purchase. As mentioned the store is asking $1,099 w/case. So, what's the jurys verdict?

Whats the difference between CE-5 and CH-1?
I'm looking for a chorus pedal and had the opportunity to try the Boss CE-5 chorus emsemble and the CH-1 super chorus. I've tried both on my home rig and can't really tell or hear a difference.

I really hate the sound of JBs, but I bought a junker that had one in it anyway. I just got my custom and my jazz, so I thought i'd sell my JB (bridge pup, black). Asking $55

what pups for a strat?
I have a Standard fender mexi strat that i haven't even touched (pickup wise) yet. Now, i dont know s*** about what pups to put in it. All I know is that I want to keep sort of the same sound that you get with a standard strat, but i want to make it better. I deffinitely want to lose the mud that the tex mex'es have, i want clear highs dark lows and full mids. Any Help?

Yet another PRS steal
Wow, I wish some CU22's or McCarty's would come up with these kinds of prices, this guitar appears to also be underpriced.

Plexitone in Short Tune
My environmental studies class got canceled tonight, so I came home and made noise pollution
This time I had my amp on quot;1quot; (no attenuation). It was about the volume of a rock band with a tired drummer

What bridge humbucker are you using with an Antiquity neck HB?
I have an Antiquity HB set in my LP Classic. I love the neck pickup, but I'm starting to rethink the bridge pickup after putting a Pearly Gates bridge in my LP Studio. The Antiquity bridge sounds nice, but a bit thin and not as impressive as the PGb. I haven't had a chance to run the Antiquity bridge HB through an OD pedal, which might perk it up, but I'm wondering whether a PG, CC, or Seth bridge might provide a thicker and ballsier tone than the Antiquity bridge. What bridge HB are you using with the Antiquity neck HB?

Differant tuners for my LP?
My Les Paul (swamp ash Studio) is the best playing, best sounding guitar I have but some days it's a struggle to keep in tune, and some days it's fine. I've had my guitar set up by a competant tech who came highly recommended too. I also have a Strat and a Tele and those guitars have NO tuning issues whatsoever. Plus I string my guitars all the same way. Should I consider a new set of tuners for my guitar and if so which ones? This is the first LP I've owned so tell me, are they more prone to going out of tune than other guitars due to temperature and humidity changes? PLEASE, this is not meant to be another quot;lets bash Gibsonquot; thread, okay? Thanks.

Tele bridge saddles
i am contemplating replacing the 6-saddle bridge in my tele. I read an article here on the SD website with Jerry Donahue who mentioned a 3-saddle bridge is a better choice of a saddle. Personally, I like my 6-saddle but am curious to know if a tele would improve with the 3-saddle bridge.

Acoustic steals...
What company/models of acoustic guitars are amazingly low but still are good quality? I'm talking in the 300-400 range. I'm considering upgrading my cheap Olympia since I've been playing a lot of acoustic lately.
