What company/models of acoustic guitars are amazingly low but still are good quality? I'm talking in the 300-400 range. I'm considering upgrading my cheap Olympia since I've been playing a lot of acoustic lately.
Seagull, La Patrie, Art amp; Luthrie, Takamine, Tacoma.
Washburn
Alvarez or Seagull
Yamaha and Washburn
Seagull
A used Martin DM or DR A little more than $400, but worth spending a little more.
Those Seagulls look amazing, and since they are basically Godin's acoustics they must be great guitars. Does anyone know what models I'd be looking at in my price range?
i dont know how expensive they are normally but my crafter acoustic is great!! only $200 too
I like Yamaha and Tacoma in that price range. Believe it or not, a girl in my church got an Ibanez for Christmas last year that is AMAZING.

With Seagulls the least expensive models are also the best values. If you're comfortable with a dreadnought the standard S6 (cedar top and laminated cherry sides and back) is a good choice. If you prefer a smaller body size the S6 is the way to go, and if you are a real hard strummer you might choose an S6 Spruce because a spruce top breaks up later than a cedar top (the cedar is real sweet, though). Have fun!
