The lost art of guitar repair (rant)?
I just had my Flying V worked on and found out that another fine repairman will no longer be working at this guitar store. This will make one guitar shop that actually has a guitar repair-person in Grand Rapids Michigan! For those of you not familiar with G.R., it is the second biggest city in Michigan. What is going on? Is this the guitar centerization of guitar repair? :******:

the skinny on the antiquity bridge?
im looking into buying an antiquity bridge humbucker for my les paul. How does this pickup compare to the '59?? Is it as hot?? I've got a jb in the guitar now, so will i be disappointed with the output change if i swap them out- the antiquity for the jb??

Pardon me for drooling...
But check out the finish on that Keebler LP. I love that colour on a singlecut flame-top. Bout 3/4 way down.

Necks
Is there any advantage to having a little relief in your neck as opposed to making it perfectly straight?

Clean tones
If you have tried out both amps (and only if), could you please vote on this poll?
Thank you

longer cable length = less output?
I made the mistake of playing a gig with a new instrument cable without testing it first. I plugged in and my guitars just sounded wimpy - the ouput was significantly less and the amp wasn't distorting like it should. I quickly swapped out with another (spotty) old cable I had and problem solved.

Amp modeler Keyboard amp?
I know that modelers don't always sound good through guitar amps but they usually sound good through PA systems with full range speakers. How would an amp modeler sound through a keyboard amp? Isn't a keyboard amp essentially a PA/Poweramp with a speaker?

POTS explanation
Can someone please explain when and why you would use a 250K pot versus a 500K pot. I'm not sure what that's all about. Thank you.

Need help wiring a Les Paul
Can someone post a photo of their Les Paul's wiring? I've printed out a few wiring diagrams, but none of them are working. Last night I looked at my friend's stock Standard and his caps were in a different position.

I have a new strat neck! question about tuners and oiling.
I scored a free unfinished Mightymite strat neck yesterday and I was wondering about how I could get that slick oil feel of the Ernie Ball guitars. What will I have to do to make it like the EBs.

My new RG321
Hey guys, I bought this RG321 last week. I was GASing for a shredder, and I'm not a big fan of whammy bars, and Sam Ash had that 20% off thing going on, so I just had to buy it. After a good setup, it plays great. Now I just gotta swap those pups.

When they say a speaker cab is wired for Stereo
Does that mean if I have a stereo power amp that I can plug both sides into that one speaker cab? Or will I blow up or something?

Single sized 'buckers...
I've currently got a Livewire Hot for Strat, and like it, but it may be a bit too thin. I'm considering any of the single sized buckers (lil' 59, Lil Demon, JB Jr, Hot Rails). It's for an alder Strat, rosewood board, vintage trem, for metal. The other pickups are Lace Sensors (Blue in the neck, Silver in the middle).
