Wiring Questions
Okay, so I'm gonna build me a guitar. However, when I mentioned my pickup configuration at another forum, someone told me there would be problems with resonant peaks and that hum-cancelling would not work in the 2 and 4 positions.

Exp-2001 Expandora Ii
Anyone have one or tried one out? How does it compare to the Tweak Fuzz? The sound clips are pretty cool, but wonder about actual use.

Graphtech saddles changing tone?
I recently got some Graphtech saddles for my strat and I dunno if I'm just getting spoiled by my Fat Strat but it seems as if the bass has been slightly reduced. Am I hearing things? Did the graptech saddles suck up the bass?

What's with the guitar wood desides the string gauge.
I heard that the wood of the guitar desides the string gauge for the guitar. Its that true. If so what kind should a mahogany body with a maple neck and ebony fretboarduse, or a maple body, maple neck with rosewood fretboard. This can not be true, then every one should change theirs to get the best sound possible. I know one makes there own sound, but still one can make mistakes and choose the wrong one. Can someone confirme this please.

Crisp, clean, and clear.
Anyone can tell me what would be the choice pickup regarding said title for progressive rock/metal? I`m running a McNaught Singlecut with Rio Texas and SD JB into a Mesa Singlec Rectifier. I`m thinking of the WCR Hercs but they are so spendy. Anything qualify in the Dimarzio or Duncan camp?

Help me. Hot stack, hot rail, or cool rail with JB.
I have a Fender 2001 MIM hss strat I bought used.
I love the strat feel. I had a epiphone lp studio that I sold to buy this one.

Which duncan for this sound....
OK, I may be having buyer's remorse with my Lawrence L500L. Not that it's a bad pickup, I think I just pictured it sounding different.
