Does that mean if I have a stereo power amp that I can plug both sides into that one speaker cab? Or will I blow up or something?

You have to match impedences.....If your amp was 8 ohms in stereo,you'd have to plug into each side of an 8ohm speaker within a stereo capable cab...left would be 8 ohm and right would be 8 ohm also...If your amp was capable of running in mono at 4 ohms,you then could run it into a 4ohm mono cab load.
