Hey guys. I am really pleased with my JS1000BP, and I'm selling my two old Deans. I'd really like to buy another Ibanez, as a backup guitar. What are some good Ibanez models that are high quality? I'm looking for a used backup. I'd like to check out the RG570 as well as the RG2120. I'd like another high end Ibanez, suggestions?
Im really starting to like Ibanez's.
You can find Used Rg's and S series guitars for pretty cheap and many of those models are good guitars.

-Do we HAVE to?
Hey Big Black, what's the problem with Ibanez? Just because you play Gibson, why put someone or something else down?
No offense, I was just kidding
i would get another js model. IF you want the cheaper route out like an rg Play it first. My RG550 is great but i've played some that were horrid. I've never came across a bad JS model. However there has got to be a few lemons out there
Did you ever get your tuning issues straightened out with the one you have?
Yeah, I got the tunning issue down now. I just had to get used to the guitar, it's a sinch now . Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to look into the JS100. More than likely, it would need a pup change, but I'm expecting it has good, decent quality.
Watch out for the JS100, the body shape isn't exactly the same and it has the CRAPPY Lo-TRS trem on it. Also, it has the Wizard II neck which is NOTHING like Satch's neck. If you're going to go with another JS I might recommend looking around for one of the rarer models, like the hardtail JS-6 or JS-6000.
PGM 301 if you insist on Ibanez metal guitars.
I have a RG550, any interest? tb14 bridge, pearly gates neck quarter pound mid. Great sounding axe.
the 2005 offerings that feature Duncan pickups are also very impressive. if i were you, i won't get another JS, get a different model for a different feel amp; tone. this way, you'd know which Ibanez model you really fancy.
I bought an RG550 in a pawn shop for $200. That sucker was almost like new. I went with a DiMarzio Tone Zone (B) and PAF (N) and it was a great guitar. I ended up selling it for $400 just because it sat for months without getting played.

currently yes- but 2 variations are offered, the ones in the non-Prestige SZ models are non-US units. the Prestige SZ features a pair of american humbuckers
