Hiyas, I've a got an ash body strat with a maple fretboard. I'm putting a Hot Rails in the bridge, a Vintage Rails in the middle, and a Cool Rails in the neck. Should I stick with 250k pots or switch to 500k?
I think the rails series of pickups are usually used with 500K's if I remember correctly.
at leasr for the Hot Rails, I'd go with a 500k... the vintage rails is quite singlecoil-is, so 250k should be nice for them... I have no experience with the cool rails, but I think they could sound good with both...
