Not sure where to look. I've heard warmoth's necks don't fit and/or intonate on jackson bodies. There has to be builder out there that makes jackson replacement necks. Let me know if any of you guys know someone.

With high gain. When I sit directly in front of it, it can sometimes be harsh. If I move a little left, right or above, it mellows it out just a tad and sounds great. Not just my current amp... any amp. I remember a time I would toss a pillow near bottom half of the speaker, and I liked that, too!

With actual tube amps? I'm looking really seriously at investing in a tube-powered pedal and, being geeky as I am, I want to know what I might be able to do to change the tone if I wish, specifically by changing tubes.

I was browsing around at Best Buy yesterday and found myself standing face to face with the Gibsons we've been reading about lately. The quot;Signaturequot; series LP and SG were there. And not to be outdone, Fender had their quot;Stratocasterquot; series, though I think it's really cheesy that they're using that name. I didn't get to mess around with them much, because I didn't want a salesman to come over and try to sell one to me (normally there's no fear of that at Best Buy, but for some reason, yesterday, they were constantly harrassing me).

I was wondering if anyone knows which model Duncan pickups that Joe Sariani used (and may still use) in one of his chrome Ibanez guitars played in the San Fransico live DVD video? In the concert he uses 2 chrome guitars. One has Dimarzio pickups and has a more modern sound. The other one uses Duncan pickups and has a little more of a PAF Gibson like tone. Perhaps Pearly Gates? Or maybe 59's? Or??? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone replaced the tele bridge pickup with a strat single coil? I wanna put in a seymour duncan JB Jr. and they mount differently but I'm sure someone has done this, if so helpppppp

Does anyone have experience with their guitars/basses (specifically the 330 and 4003)? How are those quot;hi-gainquot; pickups?

I have been using 6L6 tubes for years now in my 5150 and now my dual rectifier. I just bought some Mesa El34 str442 Svetlana tubes and like the sound but find it lacking in the low end a little compared to my 6l6 tubes. I was wondering why most amp companies use EL34. Do they compensate for this lack of low end with the amp? Is the dual rectifier not well suited for EL34 tubes as much as 6l6? what are your preferences?

i can do 8 notes a second very acuratly for as long as i like....

I cannot not imagine too much or am I wrong? Even if it has the same specs as a regular RR?
