I did this clip on garage band to add to a short video we were doing at work, the theme was kind of a spoof on quot;Shaftquot;, there was the required chase seen (using the security golf carts) - not well done but it fit the stupid video perfectly.

Currently have a Jon Moore Big Dog wired up to Spin-A-Split. The pot is a stock Gibson 300k used for the bridge tone, don't know if the taper is audio or linear.

On my LP a strap screw came off.. how do I fix this? This is incredibly annoying.

Gday. Ive heard recently from the Bill Lawrence forum that the dimensions for the L-500 pickups is not the same as ur average humbucker. Can u simply install one of these into a normal strat pickgaurd routed for a humbucker or will i need to do some modifications on the pickguard?

this one song i been trying to get perfectly, quot;one crow left of the murderquot; by incubus. its by no means a hard song to learn, but the beginning guitar riff that plays through the verses is like so hard to get perfect. there are days when i just pick up my guitar and play it note for note, at the same tempo as the song goes with no problem, but other times where i mess up so much i sound like an ass. even if i play it slow. does anyone else have this problem with any songs they can play?

1.) What do non-no-load go from if max is also 250?

Well today was the day I have been waiting for for quite a while, I finally got my Crate V1512. I played it for at least an hour yesterday in the shop and when I got home I plugged it in imediatly and proceeded to jam some songs with my best friend who brought over his Blues Jr. and Epiphone Black Beauty. The amp is very clear and punchy and sounds great with my Schecter, I had a lot of fun backing off the guitar volume with the gain on about 4 and the volume maxed to get powertube breakup and we played for at least an hour. Then while my friend was trying out the amp and I was surfing the web he suddenly was like quot;what the heck?quot; and I asked him what was going on and he said that the amp just turned off, well of course I got over there and it is plugged in with the switch turned on and the light is off and nothing is happening. I flip the switch back and forth and make sure that the power plug is plugged in and it is. We left to bike and let the amp cool down for an hour and it still doesn't turn on, it just sits there. I looked inside of the chassis at the PCB and nothing is visibly loose. What is wrong, I had been looking forward to this moment for the longest time and it sounded so good before it just blipped out. I am bringing it back to the shop tomarrow but I hate to see it go, I love this amp, AAARRRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its so frustrating

Greetings Dudes, I Need New Guitar And Amp Because I Realize That The Ones I Own Are Reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally Bad.

SO... today I took a crack at setting up my guitar properly. The heavy gauge strings were NOT me at all, so from what I gathered I knew I had to adjust the intonation and truss rod. And then I went and decided to mess with the action So I set it super low... and the bottom e buzzed like crazy. So then I set it super high(unbearably high) and the E is still buzzing! It doesn't even look like it's hitting the frets. What the hell did I do? This was my first time messing with the truss rod too so I don't know if I should maybe give it more relief or if that will mess something up. One thing I'm noticing is that the strings are very close to the frets near the nut and quite a lot higher as it gets closer to the bridge. WAY more so than on my other guitar. Chalk it up to not knowing what I'm doing and trying to pretend after reading a few things on the net

Okay...got my '51 and my goal is to make it a single pup guitar, just one HB at the bridge and that's it. I'm going to replace the push-pull volume knob with a normal 500K pot but I want to continue using the rotary pickup selector to select Series-Parallel-Split on the HB, but I don't know if the stock switch is up for the job.

If a guitar was originally finished in polyurethene can that finish be totally removed if I want to re-finish it with nitrocellulose instead or does some bit of the poly stay in the wood no matter what defeating the purpose of the refin?

I have searched before I posted this. I am looking to start my VH replica guitar. I was wondering if the EVH Custom pickups were meant to mimick the early VH sound or if it is a coincidence that it means Evenly Voiced Harmonics. What's the truth?
