Is there a template available that would fill in invoice numbers autmatically
when opened with a new number?

A simple way would be to use something like this, in an open event.
Sheets(quot;Sheet1quot;).Range(quot;A1quot;).Value = _
Sheets(quot;Sheet1quot;).Range(quot;A1quot;).Value 1
