Suddenly wrapped text is not displaying in Excel. I can select the cell and
see the text in the function bar that it is in the cell and if I turn off
wrapping it displays. None of this text is very long. Thoughts?

How long is not very long?

If it's a little long lt;bggt;, you could add alt-enters (to force a new line within
the cell) every 80 to 100 characters.

Some cells are 2 words with 10 to 15 characters - I had no issues until
recently.

Thanks

How about just making the row height larger--so you can see more????

I have exactly same problem. If wrapping is turned on, the cell contents will
disappear (but it can be seen on the function bar). Cell resizing etc. does
not help. This is really amazing problem - if I type only one letter in a
cell and then 'wrap cell', the text will disappear!

This problem is really bad, because I must check every excel document I
recieve that there is no wrapped text in it, because I am unable to see that
(wrapped) text on a worksheet!

I have WinXP pro SP2 and Excel 2003.

I am having that problem too! It started all of a sudden. Have you found a
solution? It is driving me nuts!

I have tried expanding the cell width, height, changing alignment etc and
nothing works, but if I turn off Wrap Text, the contents magically reappears.
