Hi

On a computer suddenly a Print command disappeared from File menu (It was in
Word actually, but I don't think it makes a big difference). The user wants
to print a particular sheet from a document, and she can't. I didn't find a
way to edit main menu items, nor didn't I find anything useful from MS Help.
Restart didn't help either.

Can someone give a hint, how to restore a main menu item - short of
reinstalling MS Office?

I'll certainly make a fool out of myself but I'll ask anyway : it's not
just the automatic hide function of rarely used menu items, is it ? So
even after clicking on the two little down arrows at the bottom of the
File menu, the print function still isn't visible...? (Sorry)--

Start up MSWord.
Tools|Customize|toolbars tab
Select the MenuBar and click Reset

If this doesn't work, I'd ask in an MSWord newsgroup--I bet it'll make a
difference.
