I'm not sure I agree because there's much more flexibility with Excel.
However, it does have two features that, if incorporated, would threaten
Cognos incredibly. (1) is to have a feature where you can right click and
select quot;Filterquot; to filter your results. This would be *different* than the
page fields. (2) Like Access's Pivottables (which are horrendously slow),
make it so your dates auto-summarize by year, quarter, month, week, and then
individual day and then you can click to expand them to the next level or
collapse to the previous.
