I cannot seem to get my PS/2 wheel mouse to scroll in Excel 7 and for that
matter
Word either.
It works fine on the internet pages as well as in simple programs such as
WordPad and Note Pad.
Is there something wrong with setting somewhere or could I have missing or
corrupt files in excel and word.
Thanks
Excel 7 is pretty darn old. I don't think it supported scrolling mice, but
that's just a guess. I mean... Excel 7 is from 1995...

Hope it helps!

Anne, you are right, it is pretty a pretty old program. Was thinking about
that today
and thought it could be the reason.
Am curious now as to why it works in Note and WordPad. Aren't those
programs even older OR are the updated from time to time when one buys a new
computer system?
At any rate I would agree with you. It is from 1995 and when I checked in
Tools/Options I found nothing that would allow me to check or change mouse
settings.
Thanks again for your help Anne.

Right. I believe Notepad and Wordpad would be updated along with Windows,
but I don't know for sure.
