I am looking at having a validation cell which will access 10
classifications, I then want the classification to provide a second drop down
list containing names based on what was chosen in the first validation?I have done this once , but t required a lot of forula's and data entry ,
especially if the first dropdown list id very long. If you send me an email
) I can mail you an example sheet. But if there is a
standard functionality for this I am curious to know.
The solution I created was to populate the second validation list with the
desired values , using a horizontal lookup, de[pending on the value of the
first cell with drop down. ( I hope I make any sense here )
